The Ogden River is quiet. It never boasts its beauty. Year-round, it sits in its ethereal calm and waits for the occasional fisherman or the hot-spring visitor. But if you sit there and observe for long enough, you’ll see the rage underneath. Trout feverishly race downstream, the waterfall comes alive during spring, and the barely bearable hot springs tempt you to jump in with its sizzling steam.
There is so much magnificence in this underwhelming scene. If there’s any part of you that is hankering for some river activity, Ogden will not disappoint.
Beautiful! On my to do list.
